Our history
In 1986 a food safety consultancy, Hygiene Impact, was formed by Derek Gardner, a qualified Environmental Health Officer with experience of working in both the private and public sectors. Initially focussing on delivering training courses, the business expanded over the years as the need for more direct support, including policy development and auditing, increased. As a result of increased legislative and commercial pressures within the food and catering industry, the consultancy continued to expand its client portfolio and currently supports over 2000 operations.

Our team
Following a re-brand in 2005, The European Safety Bureau was born to best represent the company's sphere of operation. The Bureau employs a team of 20 former Environmental Health Officers to provide its services. Our consultants are strategically placed around the UK to offer a nationwide, swift response to any issue which may arise. They are supported by a professional, Head Office team based in Leicestershire. Each member of the team is experienced in seeking prompt, effective solutions for clients.
